How to
Initiate a Web Conference or Desktop Session: a.
Open the Cirrata Tool Bar
by clicking your mouse on the Cirrata Icon in the
Systems Tray b.
Select Desktop/Conf c.
Select Start Desktop/Conf d.
When the Desktop
Port Window opens, enter a Port Number
i.
The port number you enter must be in the range of (10 through 99) e.
Cirrata will now check to see if that Port is available and give you a
confirmation f.
When the Desktop Access Security Window
opens you must enter a Password
for your session g.
When the Access Control Window opens,
you must choose whether you want to allow
or restrict access to your desktop
i.
If you choose to restrict
access, participants will be able to see your desktop but will not be
able to manipulate it
ii.
If you choose to not restrict
access then participants will be able to manipulate your desktop h.
Please wait a few seconds while the encrypted connections are
established i.
You will see the Cirrata Desktop Icon appear
in the System Tray j.
Open the Cirrata
Tool Bar and confirm that the Active Desktop listed in the
Status Area is the same one you have initiated k. You are now ready to host a Web
Conference or Desktop Session |
