How to Launch Cirrata IM
Launching Cirrata IM from your Cirrata Home Page: 1.
Go to your Cirrata Home
Page 2.
Click on Instant Messaging 3.
a (Warning-Security)
window will open - answer "Yes"
or "Always" a.
Note: You must have the Sun Java virtual machine installed in order
for Cirrata IM to work properly. b.
To install go to: www.java.com 4.
A window will open in the upper left hand corner of your screen - IM
Control Window 5.
You will receive a message in the IM Control Window stating Cirrata IM
is Loading 6.
The Cirrata
IM Login Window will now open 7.
In order to Authenticate a user must enter: a.
The Cirrata Appliance Name (the default will already be set) b. Username c. Password 8.
You should now be online a.
To confirm whether you are online check the bottom right hand corner
of the Cirrata IM Control Window - status will be set to Online

Open your Cirrata Toolbar from the systems
tray in the bottom right hand corner of your desktop 2.
